As with all Crisp & Dene chef pads it has an inner layer of insulation helping to keep heat where you need it in your Aga range cooker and not in your kitchen.
The insulation used is still very flexible which means you can use your chef pad for a variety of jobs in the kitchen.
It has a towelling back which is absorbent, soft and harmless to chrome or enamel lids and comes with a handy hanging loop however we don’t advise leaving your chef pads on hot lids for prolonged periods of time
